Bass speaker of highest power capability, 25cm (10"), stable diecast basket, dual voice coil, the particularly rigid aluminium cone of the MK2 version features an exclusive rubber surround of long excursion. Even the 25cm SONIC is driven by the same magnetic system as used for the larger models. Even with this speaker, the linear excursion is still an amazing +/- 20mm at full drive and allows an absolutely impressive bass reproduction. Although the efficiency is not exceptionally high, deafening volume levels can still be achieved in combination with the huge power capability. The required cabinets with only 15 litres in a closed cabinet or 25 to 35 litres in a bass-reflex cabinet are of an extra small size. When managing to fit the bass speaker itself into the cabinet, a sufficient volume is almost ensured automatically!
